Care Packages for Newborn Babies

We are thankful for any donations! We accept fully formed care packages, individual items or monetary donations. We will use the monetary donations to buy the items that we need. We are currently making deliveries to Forsyth Hospital's NICU, UNC Chapel Hill's NICU and Chatham Hospital's L&D Department. Donations can be made to a specific place or towards a general fund to buy items needed to complete a delivery.
A fully formed care package includes the following: baby onesie, hat, socks, blanket, pacifier, bottle, vaseline, wipes, lotion, shampoo, body wash and if donations allow we add a book. We accept all of these compiled in a bag or we take them individually.
Feel free to email Cy Fogleman at foglemancy26@gmail.com or text him at (336)-970-7171 to get directions on how to donate. We run fundraisers 2-4 times a year and will open a gofundme at that time. We accept donations year round, but the gofundme makes it easier to have a common link to accept donations as we get closer to finalizing and delivering the care packages. Feel free to email or text me with questions! The babies and their families will appreciate the supplies! If you donate, we invite you to help us assemble and deliver the care packages.
When babies go home, not all of them have the supplies they need to be comfortable. The thought of a baby going home and not having a blanket to keep them warm or a pacifier to comfort them is something that kept me up at night. It may not seem like much, but the small donation of a pacifier could prevent a baby from being uncomfortable. Thinking about a baby being the victim of child abuse because they are inconsolable made me realize how impactful these care packages could be for these babies and their families.
